CAFÉ SUPPLY FAQ

Wholesale Japanese matcha FAQ

Is ceremonial grade matcha good for lattes?

Yes. This first-harvest Japanese matcha has smooth umami and natural sweetness for matcha lattes, and can also be whisked with water. The powder contains no added sugar or flavoring.

How does the two-bag wholesale discount work?

Buy two or more 500g ceremonial matcha bags and receive 20% off those bags automatically. No discount code is needed. The case of 48 has its own price.

Is this matcha grown in Japan?

Yes. It is grown in Hon-Yama (Honyama), Shizuoka, Japan, using first-harvest, single-cultivar Yabukita leaves.

Is there a minimum website order?

The minimum website order is one 500g bag.

Do you offer samples?

Currently we do not offer samples as we have high demand.

Is this matcha organic?

No. This 500g wholesale product is non-organic.

Why is Yōko Matcha bead-milled instead of stone-milled?

Yōko Matcha is bead-milled in Japan. Compared with traditional stone milling, bead milling can achieve matcha-level fineness with much greater production capacity and stable processing. For cafés, that supports consistent powder and dependable wholesale volume. Stone milling is traditional, but the mill alone does not determine quality; leaf quality, harvest, origin, processing, freshness, and storage also shape the cup.

How many drinks does one 500g bag make?

A 500g bag makes 250 servings at 2g each, or approximately 167 servings at 3g each. Your recipe determines the yield.

How quickly will an in-stock order ship?

In-stock orders placed on the website ship from Miami the next business day.

Can I buy a case of 48 online?

Yes. The case contains 48 × 500g bags, or 24 kg total, and can be purchased online.

Do you offer pallet, white-label, and custom-packaging orders?

Yes. Pallet pricing and white-label or custom packaging are quoted for each program. Custom orders require approximately two months from Japan. For pallet pricing, white-label options, or custom packaging information, contact Yōko Matcha at yoko@yokomatcha.com.

Is customer pickup available?

Miami pickup is available when you purchase two or more 500g bags. Select pickup at checkout for an eligible order; pickup instructions follow after your order is placed.

Can cafés request documentation?

Yes. Yōko Matcha is tested for more than 200 pesticide residues, and lot-specific documentation is available on request.
